Söderberg & Partners continues expansion in Holland

Söderberg & Partners continues to grow in Holland. Following the entrance to the Dutch market in early 2017, a partnership through acquiring a stake in the pension advisor Montae is now under way.

-          We made a very successful entrance to the Dutch market earlier this year and are now ready to take the next step. We know that our tools and experiences from the Nordic market are valuable to many Dutch pension savers, and now that we have established a solid foundation on the market, our ambition is to continue to spread our tools and services, says Gustaf Rentzhog, CEO of Söderberg & partners. 

Montae is an independent pension adviser who helps companies, as well as pension funds and other collective bargaining parties, with consulting on defined-contribution and defined-benefit pensions.

-          The Netherlands is on the verge of a pension reform. The trend in The Netherlands is unmistakably heading towards the Scandinavian direction of allowing more individual choice within collective pension schemes. We are very excited about partnering with the market leader Söderberg & Partners. More than triple in size - looking at new establishment

Söderberg & Partners entered the Dutch market through the acquisition of a stake in the pension consulting company Floreijn. Through the deal with Montae Söderberg & Partners more than triples its size and reach on the Dutch market. Therefore, Söderberg & Partners will – together with Montae and Floreijn, establish a central, independent platform in Holland to enable a more efficient distribution of S&P’s tools and services on the market.

-          We’re now starting to build a platform for our tools and services in Holland. It is very valuable to have two strong, established partners in Montae and Floreijn with us on this journey, and we are convinced that many more companies will want to join us, says Gustaf Rentzhog. 

Montae was established in 1997 and today employ over 75 pension professionals on three offices.
